Hard Rock Bet bonus bets and No Sweat Bets: how they work and how to convert them

In short: A Hard Rock Bet Bonus Bet pays its winnings but not its stake, and its promotion terms give it 7 days from issue. A No Sweat Bet token refunds a losing bet as a Bonus Bet — and the token itself expires at 11:59pm on the day it is issued. Convert the Bonus Bet at plus money with a hedge elsewhere.

Hard Rock Bet's rules checked against its own help and terms pages on October 14, 2026 (sources at the bottom of this page). Offers and terms change, so read the offer in the app before you bet. 21+ only, and only where Hard Rock Bet is licensed.

How a Hard Rock Bet Bonus Bet pays

Hard Rock Bet's sportsbook bonus terms say that after you place a bet with a Bonus Bet, the Bonus Bet amount — the stake — is not included in a winning settlement. Bonus Bets sit in your account page under Rewards, not in your cash balance. A $50 Bonus Bet at +300 that wins pays $150.

  • Expiry: the current promotion terms say a Bonus Bet expires 7 days after issuance, and other Hard Rock promotions say the same. Check the token.
  • Markets: the terms call a Bonus Bet valid for any available market, but not on boosts or round robins; a promotion page adds flex parlays and profit boosts to that list.

No Sweat Bet tokens

Hard Rock Bet issues No Sweat Bet tokens. Under its terms, if the bet placed with the token loses, you receive a Bonus Bet equal to the stake, up to the cap in the offer. Two details matter. The token expires at 11:59pm on the day it is issued, so it has to be used the same day. And if you use Early Cash Out on the bet, it is no longer eligible for the refund.

The refund arrives as an ordinary Bonus Bet with the usual 7 days. When sizing a hedge for the original bet, value that refund at roughly 65–70% of its face, not 100% — the no sweat bet guide shows the formula.

Hard Rock Bet Profit Boosts

Hard Rock Bet says a Profit Boost is calculated entirely from the potential profit of the bet. Its example: a 20% boost on $100 at +100 returns $220 — the $100 profit becomes $120. Each boost lists its percentage, maximum wager, minimum odds and expiry, and Bonus Bets cannot be used on boosts.

What Hard Rock Bet's terms say about promotions

Its bonus terms say players found tampering with a promotion to gain an unfair advantage, or abusing any part of one, may be disqualified. Use your own single account and keep to each offer's stated rules.

Worked example: converting a $50.00 Hard Rock Bet Bonus Bet

Bonus Bet: $50.00 on Team A at +300 (decimal 4.00) at Hard Rock Bet. If it wins it pays $150.00; the $50.00 stake is not returned.

Hedge: Team B at −370 (decimal 1.2703), with cash, at a different sportsbook.

Hedge stake = $150.00 ÷ 1.2703 = $118.08.

If Team A wins: $150.00 − $118.08 = $31.92.

If Team B wins: the hedge returns $149.99, a profit of $31.91.

You keep about $31.91 of the $50.00 Bonus Bet either way — a 63.8% conversion, an estimate that holds only if both bets are accepted at these prices.

Illustrative prices, not a current offer or a live market. Real prices move, so recompute with the hedge calculator before you place either bet. The figures come from the same formula the free calculator runs.

Converting a Hard Rock Bet bonus bet, step by step

  1. 1

Open the Bonus Bet in your Hard Rock Bet account

Bonus Bets are in your account page under Rewards. Note the expiry, any minimum odds, and any sport or bet-type limits shown on the token or in the offer's terms.

  2. 2

Find a plus-money price at Hard Rock Bet

Look for one side of a two-way market at roughly +250 to +500 at Hard Rock Bet, inside the token's rules. Main-line moneylines, spreads and totals in major leagues usually price tightest on the other side.

  3. 3

Find the best price on the other side elsewhere

At a different sportsbook you hold cash at, find the opposite outcome at the best price available. This price decides most of what you keep.

  4. 4

    Size the hedge

Hedge stake = the bonus bet's winnings ÷ the hedge's decimal odds. The free hedge calculator does this for you.

  5. 5

Place both bets and check the slips

Place the Bonus Bet at Hard Rock Bet, confirm it was accepted at your price, then place the hedge straight away. Recompute if either price moved.

  6. 6

Record the pair as one position

Log both bets and the amount you kept, so you know what each book's bonus bets are actually worth to you.

Mistakes that cost money at Hard Rock Bet

  • Holding a No Sweat Bet token until tomorrow's game — it expires at 11:59pm the day it is issued.
  • Using Early Cash Out on a No Sweat bet, which makes it ineligible for the refund.
  • Trying to use a Bonus Bet on a boost, profit boost, round robin or flex parlay.
  • Counting a No Sweat refund as cash when sizing the hedge. It is a Bonus Bet worth well under face value.
  • Putting a Bonus Bet on a favourite, where most of its value disappears with the stake.
