Low Hold Bet Finder

Cheapest two-way markets across books; negative hold is an arbitrage

Hold is the share of the money a sportsbook keeps when you bet every outcome of a market in proportion. This low hold bet finder takes the best price on each side across books and ranks two-way markets by their combined hold — the cheapest way to clear a rollover or playthrough. A hold below zero is an arbitrage.

How the Low Hold board works

For every two-way market TrueEdge takes the best price on each side across all books and computes the combined hold — what you would lose, as a share of what you stake, by betting both sides in proportion.

The board ranks markets from the lowest hold up. A hold below zero is an arbitrage. Low holds are the cheapest way to meet a sportsbook's rollover or playthrough requirement.

Worked example

Book A has an over at +100 (50.00% implied). Book B has the under at -104 (50.98% implied). Together: 100.98%, a hold of about 0.97%.

Stake $495.15 on the over and $504.85 on the under — $1,000 in all.

Either result returns $990.29, so turning over $1,000 costs $9.71.

The same $1,000 at a single book priced -110 both ways would cost about $45.
