What TrueEdge is, and is not

TrueEdge is software. It compares prices from sportsbooks and exchanges and does the arithmetic on them. It is not a sportsbook: it does not accept wagers, place bets, or hold or move anyone's money. Every figure it shows is an estimate, and no bet is guaranteed to win.

21+ only, and only where it is legal

TrueEdge is intended for adults 21 and older. Sports betting is legal only in some states, and the rules differ from state to state. Check your state's laws before you bet, and only bet with sportsbooks licensed where you are.

Warning signs

Betting may be becoming a problem if you find yourself:

• chasing losses — betting more to win back what you lost;
• betting more than you can afford to lose;
• hiding your betting, or how much you bet, from people close to you;
• borrowing money, or using money meant for bills, to bet;
• letting betting get in the way of work, school or relationships.

Limits and self-exclusion

Licensed sportsbooks offer tools to keep betting in check, usually under responsible gaming in your account settings: deposit limits, wager limits, and time-outs that lock your account for a period you choose.

For a longer break, sportsbooks and state gaming regulators run self-exclusion programs that bar you from betting for a set period. Contact your sportsbook or your state's gaming regulator to enroll.

Account controls

In the TrueEdge app, Settings lets you pause your account — your subscription is cancelled at the end of the period you have paid for and notifications stop — or delete it. You can also email support@trueedgeodds.com and we will cancel for you. See our support page.
